Welcome to the collective hostel "Le Repos du Pèlerin" for a relaxing getaway in the wilderness.
Rooms
Rest in the heart of the wilderness
Our establishment includes private rooms and dormitories.
From your room, you can admire the beautiful and wild river Allier and also enjoy the surrounding calm.
Are at your disposal, the wifi network, a restaurant, tea room. You will find a supervised beach close by, a rafting rental company and several sites for climbing.
Schedule
Seasonal stopover gîte from April to September.
The establishment is open every day from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Prices
Half board dormitory room : 42 € / person
Half board private room: 50 € / person from 2 people
Half board private single room : 70 € / person
Tourist tax : 0,75 € / person
Booking conditions
Booking by check or deposit of 30% of the total price of the reservation.
The deposit can only be refunded if the cancellation is made 30 days before the reservation.

A world cuisine full of colour
By stopping in our restaurant, you will appreciate our family cuisine in a friendly atmosphere
Le repos du pèlerin offers local world cuisine; Plates full of color and new flavors always changing with the seasons.
The dishes are homemade with eggs, vegetables, fruits, as much as possible produced on site and other foodstuffs bought from organic or local producers.
Our kitchen offers mainly vegetarian dishes. However, we always make sure to offer a dish for meat or fish lovers as well as for gluten-free or gluten-free diets.

Situation
On the Way to Saint James
We are located just after the Eiffel Bridge in the old village of Monistrol d’Allier.
28 kms after Le Puy en Velay and 13 kms before Saugues.
At the edge of a wild river
In front of our inn is the departure of raftings that bravely venture on the Allier, in the wildest sector of the gorges of Haut Allier.
For some hikers when you arrive in Monistrol, you finally enjoy an excellent swim after several days of walking.
Between two major difficulties of the course
Monistrol is in the hollow of the Allier valley between two major difficulties of the route: the descent of Rochegude from Saint Privat d’Allier and the climb of the Madeleine to Saugues. The pilgrim’s rest is an opportunity for a good break before continuing your effort.
Le Repos du Pèlerin is also a place of well-being, nature courses and music!
